Command and Control

attacksmedium

Command and Control refers to the infrastructure and channels attackers use to communicate with compromised systems after an intrusion. Through C2, adversaries issue instructions, deliver additional tools, and exfiltrate stolen data, often disguising the traffic as normal web activity. Detecting and cutting off C2 communication is a key way defenders contain an active breach.
