DoS

Denial of Service

attackseasy

A Denial of Service attack makes a system or service unavailable to its intended users, typically by overwhelming it with requests or exploiting a flaw that crashes it. Unlike a DDoS, a basic DoS can come from a single source. Availability is one of the core pillars of security, so preventing and absorbing these attacks is a fundamental defensive concern.
